BIPAP- BiLevel Pressure

A BiPAP (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure) machine is a type of ventilator that helps people with breathing difficulties, such as those with sleep apnea or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) etc. Unlike CPAP, which provides a constant pressure, BiPAP delivers two levels of pressure: a higher pressure when you inhale (IPAP) and a lower pressure when you exhale (EPAP). This dual pressure system helps improve comfort and efficiency for individuals who have trouble breathing with a single, continuous pressure.

APAP- Automatic Pressure

APAP- Automatic Pressure

An APAP (Auto-titrating Positive Airway Pressure) machine is a type of CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) device used to treat sleep apnea. APAP machine automatically adjusts the air pressure based on the user's needs. It continuously monitors the airflow and adjusts the pressure to keep the airway open, offering a more personalized treatment. This makes APAP machines ideal for individuals whose pressure requirements may vary during sleep, such as those with fluctuating levels of airway obstruction.

Non-invasive ventilation (NIV) machines designed for patients who require respiratory support. These devices are primarily used for conditions such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), restrictive thoracic diseases, and other breathing disorders that may require BiPAP or VPAP therapy. These machines provide bilevel pressure support, offering two levels of pressure: one for inhalation (IPAP) and a lower pressure for exhalation (EPAP), helping patients breathe more comfortably and effectively.
